Fowler Family Hospitality Services

The 11,800 square foot facility is comprised of a 3,300 square foot, state-of-the-art commercial training kitchen, 2,000 square foot dining space, food-service classroom, computer lab, physical/chemistry science lab, and support space. Grounds include outdoor dining patio, green space and parking.

Our design team worked closely with a kitchen equipment consultant to provide an efficient work environment that encourages education, exploration, and diversity in culinary knowledge. The kitchen is organized with a gas and electric line to provide students with the experience of varied equipment techniques. Worktables are set down one side of the space to provide education on small kitchen equipment and techniques.

The dining area serves as both a campus/community dining experience, as well as a training area for students with large spans of glazing between kitchen and dining, to allow for maximum interaction between cooking, serving, and hospitality.
