Northeast Arkansas Children's Museum

NEACM

Jonesboro, Arkansas

As the population of Northeast Arkansas has increased in both size and diversity, there has become a need for more educational facilities and programs to enhance the quality of life for young couples and their children. The Northeast Arkansas Children’s museum is a vision to create an educational and entertaining destination unlike anything else available to families in the region; one that showcases local and regional partners in exciting and meaningful ways to celebrate the innovation and industry that thrive within and around NEA.

The NEACM will foster hands-on learning focusing on children 0-12 years of age, while also teaching them about the prevalent industries and culture unique to Northeast Arkansas. Brackett-Krennerich was approached recently and brought on board to develop the building and surrounding site design, as well as, collaborate with ROTO in their efforts to develop the imaginative exhibits such as the “Brain Boost” and “Mini Mississippi” that are currently being developed in the design stage.

This project is currently seeking funding and partnership opportunities in the area.
