As shooting sports grow in popularity in Northeast Arkansas; The Jonesboro Shooting Complex will allow youth and adults to practice and compete in areas of trap and skeet shooting, archery, 3D archery, as well as, practice at the 200 yard and 50-yard rifle and pistol range. The complex boasts nine trap field with three skeet overlays for tournament play or weekday practice for area students and public. The completed facility will include a range building for operations of the firing range during business hours, maintenance facilities, and a centralized clubhouse to provide support for the facilities activities, as well as, for training and meeting space throughout the week. Also containing a wooded valley with over 2,900 linear feet of trail and 28 positions at various range, the firing range shooting safety baffles were fabricated from pressure-treated wood and filled with lava rock. The baffles were precisely spaced and located to allow for a prone shooting position at the firing line.
Renovation to Jonesboro Country Club concluded in early Spring of 2016. The renovation included a full revamp of existing family dining area and creation of new bar and social areas.
Stained wood paneling and trim accent the warm, rich finishes of the interior. Luxury vinyl flooring provides a deep tone allow for maximum wear for this busy club.
The main bar area is accentuated with a quartz top surround and stained wood trim with fabric in-lays. Casual dining and sitting areas are defined by lowered ceiling areas and accented flooring materials. Stone fireplaces act as focal points to create depth and richness to the space.
